Saudi Telecom Company – Enterprise Systems Management

 

Introduction:

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) is Saudi Arabia’s only National and International Telecom Operator. STC operates both fixed and Mobile voice and value added services. STC selected Microsoft SMS 2.0 for its Enterprise Systems Management.

Project Description:

The focus of this project was to deploy the Systems Management Server 2.0, to ANB’s exiting Enterprise that includes about 6000 users in all STC regions. I.e. Riyadh, Dammam & Jeddah. STC Management was looking forward to utilize the SMS capabilities, namely, H/W & S/W inventory, Software Distribution, Remote Tools, Software Metering, Network Monitoring and Report Generation using ready built Templates, in order to lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and for other benefits. The project also included providing all required Hardware, On-Site Administration for 3 months, Training & Support.
